Attribution Forge

Attribution Forge
Enchant with Risky, Safe or Guaranteed methods. Installed in your house.
Your own Forge
The Attribution Forge is a house item: there is no public forge in any city. You get a Forge Kit from the in-game Store, unpack it inside a house you own and the Forge becomes a furniture piece of that house. The house owner can move it, pack it back into a kit and place it again, always inside the owned house. Everything happens at your Forge: enchanting, recycling, revealing fragments and cleansing.
To use it, stand next to the Forge (up to 2 squares away) and use it. The Forge window lists the eligible unequipped items in your backpacks; equipped items must be removed first. While the Forge window is open you cannot do anything else in the game.
Enchant: Risky, Safe or Guaranteed
Enchanting adds one attribute to an item, chosen at random from the item's pool (see Attribution). You choose how much risk to take:
| Attribute being added | Runes | Risky | Safe | Guaranteed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1 | 10% · 0 gp | 50% · 25,000 gp | 100% · 50,000 gp |
| 2nd | 2 | 10% · 0 gp | 50% · 50,000 gp | 100% · 100,000 gp |
| 3rd | 3 | 10% · 0 gp | 50% · 100,000 gp | 100% · 200,000 gp |
| 4th | 4 | 10% · 0 gp | 50% · 200,000 gp | 100% · 400,000 gp |
| 5th | 5 | 10% · 0 gp | 50% · 300,000 gp | 100% · 600,000 gp |
- An item can only be enchanted up to its Classification (a Classification 3 item stops at the 3rd attribute).
- Guaranteed means the attribute is applied for sure. It does not mean a better attribute: the attribute and its level are always rolled by the server with the normal weights.
- On a failure (Risky or Safe) the runes and the gold are consumed. The item is untouched: it keeps every attribute it already had.
- There is no pity system: each attempt is independent.
- Gold is taken from your inventory or your bank balance at the moment of confirmation.
Confirmation
Every operation shows a quote (runes, gold, chance) and asks for confirmation. The quote is valid for 60 seconds and the server re-checks everything when you confirm: the item must still be in the same place with the same attributes, the runes and the gold must still be there and you must still be next to the Forge. Nothing is charged if any check fails.
Other Forge functions
- Recycle: destroy an attributed item to get Attribution Fragments.
- Fragments: forge 100 fragments into an unattuned rune and reveal its category.
- Cleanse: remove all attributes from an item.
- Recharge: restore the energy of a discharged Giant Gem (Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz) for 15 small stones of its kind (the Topaz uses small diamonds). The gem must be in your backpack, not inside the relic box; the stones are only taken if the recharge succeeds.
