Attribution Runes

Attribution Runes
The seven rune categories and how they are used at the Forge.
What are Attribution Runes?
Attribution Runes are the currency of the Attribution Forge: every enchant attempt consumes runes of the category of the item. There are 0 rune categories, one per kind of equipment:
| Rune | Used on |
|---|
There is no rune per weapon type: one Weapon Rune works for a sword, an axe or a club.
How many runes does an enchant cost?
The cost grows with the attribute you are adding: the 1st attribute costs 1 rune, the 2nd costs 2, the 3rd 3, the 4th 4 and the 5th 5. Risky, Safe and Guaranteed methods use the same number of runes and differ only in success chance and gold. If the attempt fails, the runes are consumed.
Where do runes come from?
- Fragments. 100 Attribution Fragments are forged into one unattuned Attribution Rune; revealing it at the Forge turns it into one of the seven categories, chosen at random by the server.
- Recycling. Attributed equipment can be recycled into fragments.
- Trade. Runes are normal items: they can be traded, stored and sold between players.

Using a rune
Runes are used at the Forge, on an unequipped item in your backpack, and only on items of the matching category. A rune used outside the Forge does nothing.
