TEST SERVER (BETA)This world is a public test: 50x experience up to level 100 and 15x after it, 10x skills, 8x magic level, 10x loot, faster regeneration and a free store. We are testing stability, bugs and content - not the economy of the official world.Everything will be WIPED when the official 1x server opens: characters, items, points and premium time do NOT carry over.

How to play Old-Pythera
Welcome to Old-Pythera — a classic Tibia 7.4 server with a few systems of its own. This is the quick guide to everything you'll find here. Start at the top; each section explains the essentials in a few lines.

1. First steps

1. Create your account and a character (pick a vocation — see below).
2. Download the client for Old-Pythera and log in.
3. Hunt near Rookgaard/Thais, level up and raise your skills by fighting monsters.
4. Keep your money in the bank (say hibank to a banker) and your items in the depot.

2. Vocations

Four classic paths: Knight (tank/melee), Paladin (ranged), Sorcerer (magic damage) and Druid (magic + healing). Skills rise with use: hitting raises melee, shooting raises distance, casting raises magic level. Level gives HP/mana/capacity; skills and gear give damage.

3. Hunting and surviving

Attack monsters for exp and loot. Carry food (regenerates HP/mana), potions and healing runes. Watch the battle sign (sword): leaving a fight early avoids death. See what each creature drops in Creatures and where to use spells in Spells.

4. Spells and runes

Buy spells from spell NPCs (you need the right level/vocation). Druids/Sorcerers make runes (e.g. SD, UH) with blank runes + mana. Full list and requirements in Spells.

5. Items and equipment

Equip weapons, armor and amulets to raise damage and defense. Check stats and where to get each item in Items.

6. Old-Pythera's own systems

Attribution (item refining)
Items gain extra attributes (damage, regen, resistances). See which items and effects in Attribution Items.
Relics & Relic Box
Relics with powerful effects, earned as quest rewards (Behemoth, Demon Helmet, Fire Axe, Circle Room, Banshee — one per character). Equip them in the Relic Box: slot 1 needs Premium, slot 2 a Royal License (Premium + Promotion + 5,000 gold = 48 hours of relic use, spent only while a relic is in that slot and you are online), slots 3–4 come from the Postman and Annihilator quests. Catalogue in Relics; rules in the Relic Box guide.
Quest items
Elixir of Souls (Orc Fortress Quest): drink it for +20% experience for 2 hours; one at a time — a second one cannot be used until the first ends. Redemption Scroll (Black Knight Quest): recovers half of the experience, magic level and skills you actually lost in your last death; each death can be redeemed only once, and the scroll is not consumed if there is nothing to recover.
Charms & Bestiary
Kill creatures to fill the Bestiary and unlock Charms (combat bonuses per creature type).
Forge
Combine/upgrade items at the Forge for stronger versions.
Outfits & Addons
Unlock classic looks and premium versions; some in the store, others by achievement.
Hunt Analyzer
Track your exp/h, loot/h and hunt balance in real time.

7. Houses & Auction

Houses are won through an auction on the website and have automatic rent. There's a whole guide just for this: How houses work — how to bid, when the auction ends, how/where to pay rent, and what happens if you don't. Browse houses in Houses.

8. Store (Pythera Coins)

Cosmetic/convenience items and perks live in the Store, paid with Pythera Coins. Nothing that breaks the classic balance of the game.

9. PvP, death and rules

When you die you lose experience and may drop items (classic Tibia rules). PvP gives a skull to whoever attacks without justification. Play fair: bots and cheats are not allowed — the server has behavioral detection and anti-bot verification.
