The effect counts only while the relic sits in an open slot of your Relic Box. Remove it, or let the slot close, and the bonus stops immediately — but the relic itself is never destroyed.
Rules that always apply
- Only one relic of each type can be in the box at a time.
- A relic only does something inside an open slot — carrying it in your backpack does nothing.
- Relic bonuses are counted separately from Attribution.
- When you die, the box itself never drops, but the relics inside it drop like any other item. An amulet of loss protects them; a red skull does not.
